Celebrate Australia Day with original Aussie music

This will be a day to remember, featuring the dazzling talents and beauty of The Junes as we launch our new CD Country Con Queso, recorded at Adelphia Studios and produced by Jeff Lang. We will be joined by “husbands” of the Junes, two of Australia’s most regarded blues artists Chris Wilson and Ian Collard, both performing in solo mode and with a band. Hot on the heels of Tamworth, The Cartwheels will be musically on fire with Jeff Mercer on guitar, while Big Daddy Roy Payne will launch his Louisiana project the Cajun Dance Party with his son on drums, plus local musicians Bill Mundie and Len Biglin. There will be a special guest appearance by the incredible Cyndi Boste in solo mode, as she gives Novocastrians a sneak preview of her incredible new CD Nowadays. Tickets are just $25, available from the Carrington Bowling Club, Gleny Rae or Bill Mundie. Limited tickets so get in early. The show will run from 2pm -10pm at the lovely Carrington Bowling Club, where the sea breezes will keep you cool. Kids under 16 are free, the bistro will be pumping out their lovely steaks, schnitzels and salads, drinks are super cheap and even cheaper if you become a social member for just $7. There will be some games and bowls happening in the breaks, and the dance floor is ready to be torn up! With dance moves that is!
